Forethought 1998 log

Bad weather in early January delayed the lift out, which was fortunate as the winds caused a certain amount of damage in the boatyard.
Forethought ended up parked properly under the stern of the spare Whitbread Merit Cup boat, and this kept the rain off quite nicely.

May 1998: Catrina duly arrived in March and made her first outing on the boat at the age of 6 weeks.

We took part in the Round the Island Race and actually won IRC GK24 trophy but we did not realise it at the time
